Certificate Program Participation & Refund Policy

These terms apply to all IDEA Content Certificate Programs. By registering, you agree to the following.

Registration and Payment

  • Certificate Programs are paid programs.

  • No tax is charged on Certificate Program fees.

  • Registration is confirmed once payment is received.

Refunds and Cancellations

  • You may cancel within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

  • If you cancel more than 30 days before the first session, you will receive a refund less a 25% administration fee.

  • Cancellations made fewer than 30 days before the first session are non-refundable.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Program Changes or Cancellation by IDEA Content

  • IDEA Content reserves the right to make changes to program dates, facilitators, format, or content when necessary.

  • If IDEA Content cancels a Certificate Program, participants will receive a full refund.

Attendance and Certificate Completion

  • To receive a Certificate of Completion, participants must attend and participate in all three sessions of the program.

  • Participation means being present and engaged for the full duration of each session.

  • Sessions are live and not recorded. Recordings are not available as a substitute for attendance.

Missed Sessions

  • If you are unable to attend one or more sessions, IDEA Content will make a good-faith effort to include you in a future session of the same program.

  • This is not guaranteed and depends on the availability of a future cohort.

  • No refunds are provided for missed sessions.

Recording and Confidentiality

  • Certificate Program sessions are not recorded.

  • Participants may not record sessions in any format.

  • Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of discussions and shared experiences during the program.

Participant Conduct

  • IDEA Content Certificate Programs are intended to be respectful, inclusive learning environments.

  • IDEA Content reserves the right to remove a participant whose behavior is disruptive, harmful, or inconsistent with these expectations.

  • Removal due to conduct does not entitle the participant to a refund.

Accessibility and Accommodations

  • Accommodation requests are built into the registration process.

  • Participants are encouraged to submit requests as early as possible so we can assess and support them appropriately.

Transferability

  • Program registrations may be transferred to another individual with prior notice, prior to the start of the first session in a certificate.

  • Access may not be shared among multiple participants.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

  • Certificates confirm participation and completion only.

  • IDEA Content does not guarantee specific professional, organizational, or personal outcomes as a result of participation.

Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
